my contribution

Fill out our online contact form.

For greater confidentiality and security, at this stage, you will only be asked for a pseudonym, a telephone number and an email address.

In order to be eligible to subscribe to our contract and begin the estimation process, you must own at least 3 watches.

It is necessary to tell us the brand, model and purchase value of each of your watches, this must correspond to the amount including tax indicated on your invoice.

The estimate of your annual contribution and the carrying value is then calculated automatically.

In insurance, the so-called “worn value” corresponds to the value of the item worn by the insured during daily travel (on the wrist or in luggage for example).

The maximum compensation value when worn represents on average 30% of the overall amount of your collection.

We consider that generally only one of your items at a time is in this transit situation, while the rest of your collection is secured in the safe at your home and/or at the bank.

However, when subscribing, the contract can be adapted according to your needs, particularly if one of your watches represents a significant part of the overall amount of your collection.

For example, an insured person has the following documents:

Rolex daytona 15’000 €
Omega speedmaster 3’000 €
Breitling chronomat 2’000 €
Audemars Piguet royal oak offshore 20’000 €
Patek Philippe nautilus in or 110’000 € »

With our default contract (30% of the total amount of your watches):

Value of the collection: 150’000 €
Carrying value: 50’000 €
Amount of contribution: 1’100 € / an

However, it is possible to adjust your contributions to ensure coverage of the most expensive item, in this case, the Patek Philippe:

Value of the collection: 150’000 €
Carrying value: 110’000 €
Amount of the contribution: 2’200 €/ an

An email summarizing your request will be automatically sent to your inbox.

So that we can offer you a personalized offer that will best meet your expectations, we must carry out an evaluation of your collection by one of our approved experts.

This interview can take place in person in the canton of Geneva, in our premises, at your home or your bank for greater security, as well as by secure videoconference.

Expertise involves the evaluation of several aspects, including:

  • Identification: Confirm the brand, model, year of production, serial number and origin.
  • Authenticity: Check that the watch is authentic, by examining the dial, hands, case and movement.
  • General condition: Wear, scratches, and damage are assessed to determine the condition and its impact on the watch’s rating. It is also necessary to analyze whether it is in original condition or whether it has already been the subject of a restoration.
  • Movement: Examining the movement is essential to determine its accuracy, past maintenance and quality especially for models with complications. The type of movement (mechanical, quartz or automatic) influences the value of the watch.

  • Materials: The materials used for the case, bezel, glass, and bracelet have a considerable impact on value.
  • Documentation : The presence of authenticity papers, original box, warranty and of course invoices is examined. In the absence of an invoice, transfer or inheritance documents can be taken as proof.
  • History and provenance: Knowing the history of the watch and its previous owner can influence the price of your watch.
  • Market Rating : Current market trends for similar watches play a role in valuation. To get a first idea of the price of your items, you can consult the leading sites in this area: www.chrono24.ch ; www.cresus.fr ; www.watchmaster.com ; www.kronos360.com .
